Disappointed with Canon
I have waited for my camera to be repaired for two weeks now (as promised by the customer service rep) and I still do not see the camera is ready in their "machine repair status " website.
I've sent them an email asking about the status of my camera but there was no reply or whatsoever. So my conclusion, slow service and slow respond by Canon. I think I wouldn't be so particular about this if I don't need to use the camera.

if you sent the camera to be repaired at the subang service centre in saujana, call them at 03-78446043 and pester them into fixing it for you. i once sent a lens there. they said it will take 2 weeks but a month later, its still sith them. i called them severyday for about 3 days straight and they immediately got it repaired for me. ever since then, i always made sure that they abide to their 2-weeks promise. you got to call them and pester.

I agree with philters. Anyway I have switched to Nikon.

Canon.. fcuk them for
their slow services.
slow means there are too many bad canon products sent back for their services or incompetent repairmen or they r cheapskate cannot pay for more service people..
