resolution to Paypal problem

I assume that the problem with Paypal is going to be permanent. They should have at least send us a notification email for those who doesn't have an US bank account before implement this new regulation.

Anyway, I have tried sending out another email to Paypal asking for updates about the acceptance of payment without a US bank account again.

However, after reading the post by Weirdoux today, I've decided to get a VMI ATM card asap. The complete procedure can be found at HongKiat's blog.

Hopefully there will be no problem sending out fund via Paypal to complete the application. Anyone have any clue?

i heard paypal will temporarily freezes some of the accounts for some of those who uses VMI card due to security reasons. Arghh my head felt like exploding now haha.

Oh yeah, i commented in your other post but I guess i'll ask here again.

What are your thoughts on E*Trade and what are the main factors influenced your decision in getting a VMI card instead? Just wanna hear more opinions from different people hehe. Hope you don't mind ahhh :P

Anthraxxxx: I'm not so sure about E*Trade. But I guess the procedure to get a VMI Card is easier. So far user like Menj have no problem based on his comment in other blog. But I'll consider other alternative as well.

I'll see how Paypal is going to respond to my email again today.

I'm kinda frustrated too but I've already sold my Paypal money earlier this month and I don't really make much money now coz I wrote very few sponsored post already.

But then VMI is to withdraw our money. How to claim our money? Is opening a US account our only alternative? If it's some technical glitch why PayPal need so many days to fix it.

vhanded: u need to start thinking about getting a US bank account via VMI card or E*trade if you want to continue to make money through sponsored posts. I think it's not merely a technical glitch at Paypal but more like a new regulation.

che-cheh: the procedure is very clear in HongKiat's blog. That VMI card is using SouthWest Bank which is based in the US.

True. Even if it's really a technical glitch, I'm not taking any chances. Going to apply an E*Trade account just to be safe.

I have written to Millie@mooncash.com this am and got a reply just now on the instructions to apply for the VMI Debit Card.

Will submit my application. This is most appropriate stepto take as we still need to withdraw $$ from Paypal irrespective whether they troubleshoot the technival problem.
